Medical Oncology Clinical Fellow (0.5) / Sarcoma Fellow (0.5)
Full Time - 1 position
Clinical responsibilities will involve a broad range of medical oncology care across a number of tumour streams with a particular focus on sarcoma. Peter Mac will endeavour to address any gaps in training for the general tumour stream component of the role. Research opportunities are available, with the possibility of focusing on clinical trials, translational research, or supportive care. It is also possible to work towards commencing a higher research degree.
To provide high quality patient treatment and care, contribute to a research program and participate in education
Essential qualifications
- Medical Qualifications registerable by AHPRA
- Completed at least two core years of registrar level of training in adult medical oncology or paediatric oncology
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with medical staff and other disciplines
- Previous research experience an advantage
- Valid National Criminal Record Check and a Working with Children Check prior to commencing employment
