Abstracts & Awards
General Information
Submission Closing Date
Abstract submissions are now closed - the following information
is for reference only.
Please Note:
- Submissions will only be accepted via this website. However, if
you are an invited speaker or a finalist in the Gerry Murphy (AFPHM),
Ramazzini (AFOM) or Pfizer Advanced Trainee Prizes, please do
not submit via this website - you will receive
written correspondence from the College regarding submission.
- Adult Medicine abstracts can be submitted either for oral/poster
presentations or for an award, but not for both.
- Paediatrics & Child Health abstracts can be submitted
for both oral/poster presentations. Allied health professionals (i.e. PSNZ)
are invited to submit abstracts. Awards for abstracts and posters are only
awarded to Fellows and Trainees of the RACP.
- IMSANZ abstracts can be submitted for posters and free papers.
- All those invited to present a poster are finalists in the
Best Poster Prize. There is a Best Poster Prize for Adult Medicine
and for Paediatrics & Child Health.
- Finalists for the Pfizer Advanced Trainee Award may not
submit that abstract for consideration as a free paper or for
another prize at the Annual Scientific Meeting.
- If your abstract is accepted for a presentation or you are
a finalist for an Award, you are required to register to attend
the Meeting. All costs of attending the Meeting are the responsibility
of the presenter/finalist. This does not apply to the Quality
Assurance Prize winner.
- Abstracts which do not meet the Abstract Submission Regulations
may be disqualified.
- If none of the submitted projects achieve the required standard,
an award may not be made.
- Judges decision is final.
- You will be notified of the result of your submission during
the week commencing 7th March 2005. Results will then be posted
on this website.
