Upcoming CPD Videoconferences - Free for Rural Specialists

RACP is pleased to present a series of videoconferences as part of the ROME program.  This program targets specialists from all disciplines living and working in rural areas with an interest in health outcome measurement.  Registration is free for rural specialists, specialist trainees, nursing and allied health staff although places are limited.

HEAL (Health Ethics and Law) Monthly Symposiums 

HEAL aims to increase knowledge and awareness of bioethical and health law issues, promote interdisciplinary understanding and provide opportunities for collaboration. 

Presentations are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month.
Supper is available from 6.00pm with presentation/s starting from 6.30pm.
Presentation/s will be approximately 1 hour duration followed by half an hour of discussion time.
Home venue is the E. S. Myers Lecture Theatre at the UQ School of Medicine but venue will be confirmed each month.
Entry to Monthly Symposiums is free, no RSVP usually required.

Specialist Outreach Services:  Opportunities for Queensland Fellows

Queensland Fellows are invited to express their interest in providing specialist outreach services to rural, remote and urban communities across Queensland.  General Practice Queensland (GPQ) is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing to support five specialist outreach programs which aim to increase access to medical specialist services for high needs populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
