Remembering A/Prof Alasdair MacDonald

The RACP is deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Associate Professor Alasdair MacDonald on Christmas Day. Alasdair was a highly respected member of the College who made an enormous contribution in many roles that he held over the years as a Board Director, Adult Medicine President and on numerous College committees and advisory groups.
Alasdair consistently gave generously of his expertise, wisdom, and extensive knowledge, particularly in areas of healthcare policy and advocacy. He was regarded with great affection by many colleagues and staff and will be remembered as a physician leader for his gentle, kind, and compassionate manner.
