- growth and development as it affects disability in childhood
- developmental disability, intellectual and physical impairment
- skeletal disorders in children
- head injury
- spinal cord injuries
- myelodysplasia
- rehabilitation of the child with joint disease
- rehabilitation of the burned child
- diseases of the motor unit
- limb deficiencies in children
- orthotics, adapted seating and assistive devices
- psychological assessment
- disorders of communication
- psychosocial issues especially the psychodynamics in families and
carers of disabled children
- developmental intervention and therapy
