The Faculty Education Committee has worked in partnership with RACP Education Services to develop subspecialty training programs within the PREP Training Framework. This involves matching appropriate formative assessments to curricula and planning the introduction of resources to support teaching and learning within the program.
Implementation of all of the elements within each subspecialty PREP Training program will be a gradual process over a number of years. The Faculty Education Committee has planned phased implementation of the programs and set transitional arrangements that are practical and achievable for trainees and supervisors in the context of the workplace, specifically with reference to the challenge of indirect supervision within AFOEM Training.
Further information on the implementation plans for 2012 for the AFOEM PREP Training program will be communicated throughout the year. If you require further information, the contact details for the Faculty office are located here.
