Communication Skills Workshop for Advanced Trainees in Palliative Medicine.

23- 25 October 2013, Sydney, Australia

The Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine has developed a communication skills workshop in collaboration with leaders in the field of communication skills. It has been designed specifically to meet the needs of trainees in Palliative Medicine and is recommended for Advanced Training in Palliative Medicine.

Feedback from previous workshops has been overwhelmingly positive:

This workshop includes a three day experiential learning opportunity based on your needs, and facilitated in small groups: experienced actor patients are used to help you develop and enhance your communication skills.

Time commitments: three full days face-to-face Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 23-25 October 2013. Arriving Tuesday evening in order to be fresh to start the workshop early next morning is recommended.

The registration fee includes pre-reading materials, morning tea and lunch.
