International Medical Graduates - Australia
If you hold an undergraduate medical degree in an overseas country and you wish to undertake work experience in Australia you will need to seek temporary residence under the category of Occupational Trainee Visa. This is a brief rundown of the process.

Once you have a position the hospital will contact the Australian Immigration Department to obtain the Occupational Training Visa for you. For information on these visas you can visit their website.
