Over the past five years the RACP has built and delivered a highly successful and reputable training infrastructure. Even with this progression, the RACP fee structure remains one of the most competitive for medical colleges in Australia and New Zealand.

| 1. The Continuation fee applies to trainees who have completed 36 months full time equivalent basic training, are still undertaking physician training, but are not yet applying for advanced training. |
It is a requirement that Basic Trainees pass both the written and clinical examinations before commencing the Advanced Training Program. Some exceptions apply.

2. The RACP annual Fellow subscription fee will be waived for any Fellow undertaking post-FRACP Divisional Training programs in 2012. The RACP Finance team will contact eligible post-FRACP trainees directly to advise where applicable.
3. This option replaces the annual fee and ONLY applies if you are the recipient of the National Health & Medical Research Council grant or equivalent and earn up to $30,000 total income which includes the grant plus any additional income). Applicants will need to send written confirmation with the training application form and the appropriate payment.
4. If applying for conditional approval as opposed to the annual fee, half of the advanced training fee ($1430) is payable when lodging your application. This fee will not be refundable if you are unsuccessful in the Clinical Examination. If you are successful, an invoice will be sent to you for the balance of the annual fee.
5. The Continuation fee applies to trainees who have completed 36 months (or more for some joint training programs) of accredited full time equivalent advanced training, but have not completed all requirements of a supervising committee to enable recommendation to Fellowship of the College.
These fees apply to trainees in Chapter training programs.

6. This fee covers initial vetting of documentation, interview (excluding videoconferencing costs), cost of any required period of peer review and any other requirements other than the RACP examinations or practice visits. Examination fees must be paid by any applicant who is required to successfully complete the Written and/or Clinical Examination of the College prior to being granted specialist registration or Fellowship.
7. Fellowship fee is for applicants who have been assessed for Fellowship and have been advised they are eligible to apply.
8. Please note, no refunds are available for this option.
Please contact the OTP Unit for more information regarding Specified Training Visas (previously known as Occupational Training Visas) or Postgraduate Training Approval.
(i) Withdrawal of application for examination (Refer to the appendix of the Guidelines for Candidates document).
(ii) A handling fee of 25% will be deducted from the total paid, for all refunds.
(iii) Refunds will be processed, not held by the College against future applications or fees.
