Public health medicine is that branch of medical practice which is primarily concerned with the health and care of populations. The Faculty developed from groups of physicians practising public health medicine or community medicine in both Australia and New Zealand.
Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation MedicineAustralasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM)
Rehabilitation Medicine is a relatively new medical specialty. AFRM train, accredit and support medical practitioners in the management of disability arising out of illness and injury.
Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental MedicineAustralasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM)
The Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine aims to establish and maintain the standard of training and practice of Occupational Medicine in Australasia.
Joint Faculty of Intensive Care MedicineJoint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (JFICM)
The Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) was formed in 2002.
