Purpose: The intent of the Scholarship is to provide stipend support to encourage and support the promotion of research in any medical specialty areas represented by the RACP, its Divisions, Faculties and Chapters.
Value: Up to $45,000
Eligibility: New Zealand Fellows and trainees of the RACP, its Divisions, Faculties and Chapters.
• Enrolled in, or about to enrol in a research higher degree (Masters, PhD or equivalent)
• Without stipend
Special Requirement: The successful applicant will be requested to publicise the award through speaking engagements and participation at College events.
Tenable: Australia, New Zealand overseas
The Scholarship is made available by donations from the NZ Fellows of the RACP 2012.

• Project support; or
• Stipend

Purpose: To assist with travel associated with further education and projects being undertaken by postgraduate researchers in the field of human genetics.
The funds may be used for:
• gaining new technical expertise in a field relevant to the field of human genetics
• for training at an appropriate institution
• to participate in and present a paper relevant to the field of human genetics at a conference or scientific meeting (proof of acceptance must be provided with application)
• other proposals will be considered but must demonstrate value to the individual and be relevant to the field of human genetics
Value: $5,000
Eligibility: New Zealand Fellows or Trainees of the RACP, its Divisions, Faculties and Chapters.
Tenable: To travel to another centre within New Zealand or overseas
The Fellowship is offered in recognition of Dr Helen Rarity McCreanor in respect of her contributions to the field of human genetics.
Purpose: To provide support to encourage advancement of knowledge. The funds may be used for:
• gaining new technical expertise in a field relevant to the applicants field of medical study.
• for training at an appropriate institution
Other proposals, such as webinar support, leading to the advancement of knowledge for more than one individual, will be considered.
Value: Up to $5,000
