Advertising in RACP News
Advertising Rates 2009
RACP News is the College's flagship publication, published six times per year. It is distributed to over 14,000 physicians, paediatricians, trainees of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Faculties of Public Health, Rehabilitation Medicine, Occupational & Enviromental Medicine and the Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and the Chapters of Palliative Medicine, Addiction Medicine and Community Child Health. Subscribers represent over 20 medical specialists.
The magazine is distributed throughout Australia, New Zealand and over 47 countries throughout the world, and is also published online (accessible to members only).
Magazine Format:
A4 size page, full colour. Journal trim size 295 x 210mm. Column size 83mm wide by 260mm deep. A 5mm bleed should be included on any advertisement that has colour to the edge, together with crop marks to indicate the trim size of the press advertisement.

Layout Charge:
Applicable if text description is supplied and you wish for us to layout the material. $25 per advertisement.
Copy Format:
Advertisements can be accepted in the following formats -
- Email: RACPNewsAds@racp.edu.au as a hi-res PDF, indesign or quark file. Please supply all support files such as fonts and pictures. Do not supply word except as a guide for the publisher to follow a layout or to provide text for the ad.
- Please provide a colour proof and/or separations for publisher reference.

Fellow Discount:
RACP Fellows are entitled to a 20% discount on advertising charges for hardcopy advertisements only.
Internet advertisement for Positions Vacant:
If you wish to place a 'Position Vacant' advertisement on the RACP Members' website there is a $50.00 charge (Australian advertisers will be charged an additional 10% GST). Text file advertisements only (no logos or graphics) and a maximum of 200 words. Advertisements remain on the website until the closing date for applications, or 3 months if there is no closing date. Training Positions Supplement:
The Training Positions Supplement provides information on internal medicine and paediatric training positions available in hospitals for the coming year.
To register your interest and to be sent a reminder before the text deadline date contact Fay Varvaritis, Advertising Officer on (+61 2) 9256 5482 or RACPNewsAds@racp.edu.au.

Inserts and onserts distribution can also be tailored to suit your distribution needs. Price on application.

Advertising Standards:
Submitted advertisements for RACP News are subject to approval by a medical panel and must meet general conditions. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that advertisements comply with Commonwealth and State Laws.
Cancellations:
No cancellation will be accepted after booking deadline.
