Population Health Congress

The Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine is working with our public health colleagues to jointly present this Congress.
This is the main Congress for our Faculty in 2012 as we are not presenting a stream at the RACP Congress.

Request for Abstract Reviewers

The Scientific Committee of the 2012 Population Health Congress is seeking practitioners and researchers to volunteer to review abstracts. This will need to occur between the 10th and 26th March 2012. We are seeking nearly 150 reviewers to review the anticipated 900 plus abstracts. Given that each abstract is reviewed (blind) twice, that means each reviewer will be asked to assess between 10 and 15 abstracts and enter your scores and comments directly online. We are looking for people able to review within one or more of a wide range of topics.

We would be very pleased if you were able to share your expertise in this way to contribute towards a successful Congress, run jointly as you know, by the four major organisations in this area: the Public Health Association of Australia, the Australian Health Promotion Association, the Australasian Epidemiological Association and the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine.

If you would be willing to assist, please register by completing the attached Excel document, saving it with your name included, e.g. surname_initial_reviewer.xls (e.g. MCBRIDE_T_reviewer.xls) and sending via email to Congress2012_Admin@confco.com.au by Friday 6th January 2012.

For information about the Call for Abstracts, see this page on website (https://www.conferenceco.com.au/PopHealth/Abstract_Information.asp).

You can get more information from the website or by emailing the Congress Convenor, Tony McBride, on t.mcbride@tanjable.net.
