AChAM Nghi Phung Research Project Prize

The AChAM Nghi Phung Research Project Prize is awarded annually to the best Advanced Training Research Project on addiction medicine.

This prize is named in honour of Associate Professor Phung’s passion for research and her enormous contribution to the alcohol and other drug field.


Eligibility

You must be a registered Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine (AChAM) Advanced Trainee upon submission of your Advanced Training Research Project for assessment.

Your Advanced Training Research Project must have been submitted between 1 January 2022 and 31 December 2022.

Prize

The successful recipient receives:

  • cash prize of $1000
    AND
  • prize certificate to be presented at the APSAD Conference in November 2023.

Selection process

All applications are reviewed by an Award Review Panel comprised of 3 AChAM members. 

The Award Review Panel reserves the right not to award the AChAM Nghi Phung Research Project Prize if there are no applications that meet a sufficient standard.
