Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine
The Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine is pleased to be able to offer a range of prizes and awards specifically for Fellows and trainees of the chapter. These are funded by donations from the membership and income from the ASM.
The RACP awards the Penelope Lowe Prize to the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine (AChSHM) trainee with the best case presentation at the AChSHM Annual Scientific Meeting.
The Penelope Lowe Prize is named in memory of Dr Penelope Lowe, FAChSHM and former Chapter Trainee Representative, who passed away in 2010.
The Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine awards the Jan Edwards Prize for a proffered paper of high standard, presented orally by a registered Chapter Trainee at the annual Australasian Sexual Health Conference
The Jan Edwards Prize was named in honour of the long serving Executive Secretary of the previous Australasian College of Sexual Health Physicians (ACSHP).
The Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine (AChSHM) formally recognises the outstanding contributions made by Fellows of the AChSHM through biennial awards which are offered alternately in one of the following categories:
- Outstanding Overall Contribution to the Discipline of Sexual Health Medicine
- Outstanding Contribution to Education and Training
- Outstanding Contribution to Research
The 2017 AChSHM Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Discipline of Sexual Health Medicine is now open for nominations.
The Scholarship is made available by funds provided by the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine. This award is financed from funds from the Fellows and trainees of the Chapter through donations.
