Various awards and prizes are offered to Fellows and trainees who are registered as members of specific states (regions) in Australia and New Zealand.
The Queensland State Committee through the RACP Foundation offer the following Awards and Prizes to trainees and Fellows in Queensland to support the advancement of research and educational studies.

Jameson Investigator Award for Research Related to Indigenous Health Issues
The T C Butler & F R T Stevens Prize is awarded to the best written submission on the applicant's perspective on medical condition or illness which impacts a vulnerable group in society. The Prize is made available through the generosity of a bequest from T C Butler and a bequest from F R T Stevens.
The New Zealand Awards are open to New Zealand Fellows and trainees with oversight by the New Zealand Grants Advisory Committee. Funding is provided from gifts and bequests from individual donors, Fellows and trainees.

RACP Trainee Research Awards for Excellence
The RACP Trainee Research Awards for Excellence are competitive events held annually at the RACP Congress among regional representatives to identify and acknowledge the best trainee research presentations.
Gerry Murphy Prize
Regional Committees in the Australian States and Territories select a trainee of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine to make a presentation at the AFPHM Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) or the RACP Congress.
John Snow Scholarship
The John Snow Scholarship is available to medical students and provides an opportunity to do a presentation relating to public health at the RACP Congress or AFPHM Annual Scientific Meeting.
