In accordance with our Gender Equity in Medicine and Membership Diversity principles, we actively promote and encourage diverse representation in all College activities.
The College plays an important role in its training program by involving trainees in all aspects of its complex governance as representatives of their fellow trainees.
This is a great opportunity if you're willing to share your perspectives from a trainee’s viewpoint, acting as a communicator between the Advanced Trainee Committee and the Advanced Trainees.
Being an Advanced Trainee Representative will allow you to be involved in and understand how the training committee makes decisions to support individual trainees’ progression throughout their training.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The committee meets 4 times a year.
Members are appointed to the ATC for a 3-year term and can be renewed for a further term or until the Advanced Trainee becomes eligible for Fellowship.
Before applying, read the Advanced Training Committee in Community Child Health Terms of Reference (PDF).
To apply, submit your EOI form (DOC) and CV to CommunityChildHealth@racp.edu.au.
