MAP comprises medical practitioners who provide expert advice to the WorkCover Board Tasmania. The representative should have experience in injury management and return to work processes for workers who have suffered an injury or illness arising out of, or in the course of their employment.
MAP provide advice to the Committee on developments, knowledge and experience within the medical/health care profession to assist with improving workers’ compensation arrangements in Tasmania. The promotion and support of injury management and the encouragement of the return to work of injured workers as soon as possible.
The AFOEM Representative will be appointed for 12 months, or for another period decided by the Committee. The role is remunerated
