The Committee supervises the coordination of the development, preparation and measurement of exams and assessments and also standardises examiners and assessors and oversees examining panels.
The Committee is also responsible for administering the Long Case Assessment Training and Resources for the LCA. The LCA is an In-training Long Case Assessment completed under examination conditions during Trainees’ final year of Advanced Training.
The AFRM FAC audits and analyses exam data used to change policy and programs to improve exams and assessments. The Committee reports recommendations to the College Education Committee, the AFRM Education Committee and associated working parties and committees.

The term of this position is for 3 years from the date of appointment.
The AFRM FAC holds 1 face-to-face meeting and up to 5 teleconferences a year, with additional meetings as required.
