Expressions of interest are open to Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) Fellows for the role of New Fellow Representative on the AFRM Faculty Assessment Committee (FAC).

Description

The AFRM FAC supervises the coordination of the development, preparation and measurement of exams and assessments. It also standardises examiners and assessors and oversees examining panels.

The AFRM FAC audits and analyses exam data in order to improve exams and assessments through policy and program change. The AFRM FAC reports recommendations to the College Education Committee, the AFRM Education Committee, and associated working groups and committees, as required.

To be a successful applicant, you must have:

  • Unconditional AHPRA or MCNZ registration as a AFRM Rehabilitation Medicine Physician
  • Received your AFRM Fellowship within the last 18 months

The term of this position is for 18 months from the date of appointment.

The AFRM FAC holds 1 face-to-face meeting and up to 5 teleconferences a year, with additional meetings as required.
