The Australian Health Services Research Institute is inviting applications from AFRM Fellows for the position.

The Australasian Rehabilitation Outcomes Centre (AROC) is the national clinical registry measuring quality and outcomes of medical rehabilitation care. Clinical-quality registries have an important role to play in improving quality of care via monitoring and benchmarking of clinical care outcomes. They incorporate a data bureau and benchmarking service as well as collaborating in outcomes research within the rehabilitation sector.

AROC is seeking an experienced rehabilitation physician to provide leadership and expertise in the clinical and research aspects of rehabilitation across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

About the position

The Clinical Director will provide regular high-level clinical advice to guide AROC’s activities and development and act as an AROC ambassador, supporting activities within the rehabilitation sector and beyond.

This is a part-time position starting January 2021. The Clinical Director will also sit on the AROC Management Advisory Group (MAG). The appointment is for a term of 2 years, with the option to renew for a further 2 terms.
