In accordance with our Gender Equity in Medicine and Membership Diversity principles, we actively promote and encourage diverse representation in all College activities.
The College and the Advanced Training Committee (ATC) in General Paediatrics are responsible for ensuring that training in Australia is undertaken in accredited training settings.
The accreditation of settings for General Paediatrics is an essential activity that ensures high quality training environments for tomorrow’s Physicians. This is an exciting opportunity to become a Trainee Representative of the Subcommittee for those interested in contributing to both the discussion and decision-making process regarding the Accreditation of settings for the Advanced Training in General Paediatrics Training Program.
As a Trainee Representative of the Subcommittee, the following commitment is required:
Members (including Trainee Representatives) are appointed for an initial 3-year term with the option to renew for a further 3-year term.
The role as a Trainee Representative is voluntary. To support and thank you for your contributions towards accreditation, you will receive CPD points for completed activities. All relevant travel, meals and accommodation costs for attending face-to-face Subcommittee meetings are covered by the College in accordance with the RACP Travel Policy and Guidelines (PDF).
Read the General Paediatrics Accreditation Subcommittee Terms of Reference (PDF) before applying.
