One of the main roles of the Advanced Training Committee (ATC) in Nephrology is to monitor and assess individual trainee progress in Nephrology for Australia.
There's currently 1 Fellow position vacant on the Training Committee in the role of Appointed Member. This is a great opportunity for Fellows who are willing to support current Nephrology Advanced Trainees and the training program. In this role, you'll help shape the physicians of the future and positively contribute to the direction, workforce and culture of Nephrology in Australia.
You'll review and monitor training program requirements, assessment, and curricula in consultation with relevant specialty societies and stakeholders. You'll also recommend changes to the CEC through the Adult Medicine and Paediatrics Division Education Committees.
For more information regarding the roles and composition of the Training Committee, read the Terms of Reference (PDF).
Meetings are held 4 times per year with 1 face-to-face meeting, usually held in November.
Members are appointed to the ATC for a 3-year term and can be renewed for a further term.
Fellows who are interested are invited to submit an expression of interest form (DOC) and CV to Nephrology@racp.edu.au
