Adding dates - Tablet

The following help article will assist you in adding dates to your MyCPD record on your tablet.

Activities are added individually into the MyCPD program. They will appear in the MyCPD Summary page once entered and saved. You may decide to later edit these activities, attach evidence, or add a reflection. Dates can be recorded using one of three options (credits will be recognised once the activity dates have passed).

Single activity

You can claim your activity as a single date activity if it occurred on the one occasion, or if it occurred over a period of time. For example, if you read journal articles for one hour every week, but not on any specified day, you may claim this as a single activity starting from the beginning of the year to the end. Please note: hours recorded will be the total hours spent on the activity within the date range.

  1. Select Single activity option along the beneath the Year.
  2. Select Start date by selecting the calendar icon, or by entering it as text (dd/mm/yyyy).

Multiple dates

If your activity occurred over multiple dates you may use this function to record the hours. For example, if you participated in peer review on the 1st and 22nd of August, you would select these two dates.

Please note: hours recorded will be the total hours spent on the activity per session. The total hours will be automatically calculated on the summary page.

  1. Select Multiple dates option beneath the Activity occurrence.
  2. Select the Date by selecting the small calendar icon.
  3. Select Add date to list and the date will appear in the recorded date list which is the box to right side of the page.
  4. Continue entering start dates and adding the dates to the recorded date list. To remove a date, select the date from the recorded date list on and it will be deleted.

Your activity may reoccur daily, weekly or monthly. You can record this and the program will automatically calculate the total number of hours.

For example, if you participated in journal club on the first Friday of each month, you can choose to record that.

  1. Weekly
  2. Monthly - day
  3. Monthly - week
