The Network for Indigenous Cultural and Health Education (NICHE) Portal links to and hosts professional development resources on Indigenous health for medical specialists.
It aims to provide easy access to educational resources and encourage a multi-disciplinary approach to Indigenous health care.
The website also includes forums for specialists to discuss important and upcoming issues. Registration is required for this section of the portal.
The RACP is collaborating with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons on this project.
Participation in these activities can be claimed in the MyCPD program under Category 3: Self Assessment Programs at 2 credits per hour.
This Project has been funded by the Department of Health and Ageing under the Rural Health Continuing Education Sub-program (RHCE) Stream One which is managed by the Committee of Presidents of Medical Colleges.
