25 Jun 2022 at 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
RACP SA/NT Regional Office, 2/257 Melbourne Street, North Adelaide
RACP South Australian Regional Committee
This workshop uses a hands-on approach that enables teams to successfully implement quality improvement (QI) together. By building on an understanding of QI using evidence-based tools and realistic improvement opportunities, this workshop’s collaborative approach parallels the team-based nature of healthcare. Furthermore, it provides participants with the language, skills, and tools needed to carry out their first improvement project.
This free workshop is open to everyone (members and non-members). Practice Managers are also welcome. Presenter Associate Professor Amy Keir MBBS MPH FRACP PhD is a consultant neonatologist at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide and a Retrieval Consultant with the SA Ambulance Service (MedSTAR kids). She is a healthcare services researcher with the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and the University of Adelaide. Dr Keir is an accredited Master Facilitator for the Evidence-based Practice for Improving Quality (EPIQ) program.
The EPIQ program was developed by, and originates from, the University of Alberta and the Canadian Neonatal Network. The event partner is the Medical Indemnity Protection Society.
