Find out about Basic Training at orientation

Are you a new Basic Trainee or interested in commencing Basic Training? Join us at a Basic Training Orientation session to find out what training entails.

The sessions are being held in each state and territory across Australia during February and March.

At each event current Basic Trainees, Advanced Trainees and consultants will demystify Basic Training and provide practical tips on topics including:

  • how to approach Basic Training 
  • an overview of the Physician Readiness for Expert Practice Program
  • exam planning and preparation 
  • mentoring and work-life balance. 

The College offers Basic Trainees a number of opportunities including the Physician Education Program event series that will also be outlined at the orientation sessions.
