End-of-life care RACP Online Professionalism Program course - register now
12 May 2017
Many Fellows and trainees will regularly be involved in the care of patients who may die within 12 months.
A new End-of-Life Care RACP Online Professionalism Program course will run from the end of June to August.
This end-of-life care course will:
- enhance your understanding of how end-of-life care is relevant to all physicians and paediatricians regardless of speciality
- enable you to put this understanding into practise
- assist you to understand the role Advance Care Planning has in improving end of life care.
Participation takes as little as five minutes a day, two to three times a week to complete via email. Questions are framed within clinical scenarios and designed to encourage critical thinking and self-reflection.
Registration is open to RACP Fellows and Advanced Trainees.
Places are limited and registrations close Friday, 23 June, or earlier if places are exhausted.
You can also register for the Cultural Competency RACP Online Professionalism Program which will begin later this year.
The RACP Online Professionalism Program
is delivered using Qstream, a spaced learning platform developed by Harvard Medical School. Qstream is an interactive and engaging way to learn with peers. Participation has been shown to increase knowledge retention, change on-the-job behaviours and improve patient outcomes.
The RACP Online Professionalism Program is FREE for RACP members and counts towards Continuing Professional Development requirements.
