Advanced Training Curricula consultation open
01 Oct 2019
We are renewing the Advanced Training Curricula to ensure physicians of the future continue to be competent and safe practitioners, and that the integrity of College training continues to be globally recognised, respected and trusted.
We are consulting on proposed common standards that would apply to all curricula for Advanced Training.
The draft common standards include:
- Competencies: statements of behaviours, values, and practices of trainees
- Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs): essential work tasks that can be delegated, observed, and assessed – trainees need to be able to perform these tasks in the workplace without needing supervision by the end of Advanced Training.
These are standards that all trainees would need to achieve by the end of their Advanced Training.
Provide your feedback by completing the consultation survey by Monday 28 October 2019.
