Western Australia – August 2017

A message from the WA State Committee Chair

Dear Fellows and trainees,

Welcome to the latest edition of the WA eNewsletter.

The State Committee held its last meeting on 24 May 2017.

Education, Policy & Advocacy and Accreditation updates dominated discussions, continuing to reflect our rapidly changing environment.

I would like to welcome Dr Christina Bertiloni FAFPHM, who has taken over as Public Health Representative on the Committee from Professor Charles Watson.

I would also like to give a very grateful vote of thanks to Professor Watson for his invaluable and unwavering support of the Committee and College in WA over many years.

The RACP Board will be in Perth during August and I encourage you to avail yourself of any opportunity to meet with both Board and State Committee members.

Also in early September the State Committee will be hosting a New Fellows’ Forum for those starting their career as a specialist. All members are welcome to attend this valuable networking opportunity.
If you have any contributions for the Western Australian State Committee please email us at RACPWA@racp.edu.au
