The Divisional Written Examination tests a trainee's knowledge in either Adult Internal Medicine or Paediatrics & Child Health at the end of Basic Training to determine if they are ready for Advanced Training.

Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine (AFPHM) Oral Examination

The AFPHM Oral Examination tests a trainee's:

  • knowledge in important public health issues, including plain language, epidemiology and Indigenous Health
  • ability to systematically analyse a situation and present a coherent argument (a trainee must determine how they would respond to a real life public health scenario)

Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM)

AFRM examination pass rates

AFRM (Module 1) Written Assessment

The Module 1 Assessment tests a Trainee's basic medical knowledge in Rehabilitation Medicine. The examination takes two hours and covers a number of Rehabilitation Medicine topics.

Note: From 2019, Module 1 Written Assessment will only be held once a year.
