Provision of high-quality clinical services for Mackay Hospital and Health Service (MHHS) as part of the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) at Mackay Base Hospital, and Mackay Community Health.
Educate Paediatric Trainees rotating from Children’s Hospital Queensland and medical staff comprising PHO/SHO/Intern/Allied Health, nursing staff, and medical students.
Work in a family-centred environment with six other consultants championing excellence in interdisciplinary evidence-based care for children and adolescents with opportunity for research/academic appointment with James Cook University for the right candidate.
Contribute to patient safety, audit, research, and service planning activities.
Remuneration value up to $257,226 p.a. comprising salary between $4,680.10 p.f. - $4,962.00 p.f. (L25-L27) or remuneration value up to $235,390 p.a. comprising salary between $3,913.60 p.f. - $4,545.85 p.f. (L18-L24); employer superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), attraction and retention incentive allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., professional indemnity cover, plus overtime and on-call allowances.
