A wonderful opportunity exists to expand your practice by collaborating with our hospital. Join our medical team as a visiting medical officer in a key role as a Paediatrician here at Greenslopes Private Hospital.

The Maternity services here at GPH has just celebrated their 10-year anniversary. There have been more than 10,000 babies born at Greenslopes Maternity in the past 10 years and we would like you to support this wonderful service.

Our dedicated team of Paediatricians support our maternity services and birth suites with attendance at high-risk deliveries and C-sections. Supporting over 1200 births per year, the paediatric roster is split over day cover and then remote call overnight. Additional responsibilities extend to discharge review on our maternity ward, supporting 5-week baby checks, and providing cover to our 10 special care nursery cots.

Greenslopes Private Hospital is licensed for Level 4 maternity services and Level 4 neonatology services on the QLD Health Clinical Services Capability Framework.

Essential qualifications

  • AHPRA Registration - Specialist
  • Fellowship with RACP
  • Neonatology experience
  • Paediatric ALS
  • Access to an unrestricted Medicare provider number
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills
  • Experience in retrieval desirable
