Chapter of Palliative Medicine

What is the role of the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine in RACP’s advocacy and policy work?

The Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine  (AChPM) is contributing to a number of RACP policy and advocacy projects, and the EVOLVE initiative, to create a list of the 'top 5' low value practices used in commonly encountered clinical scenarios within palliative medicine.

AChPM has contributed to the work of the RACP’s End of Life Working Party, and has been consulted on the development of a number of submissions to government inquiries on Advance Care Planning and end-of-life-care.
