If you’re a new advanced trainee in one of the 28 new curricula programs, there may be changes to how you register for training. See below to find out if these changes affect you.


New curricula programs

If you’re a new Year 1 (2026) Trainee in one of the following new curricula programs, how you register for training is changing:

  • Addition Medicine
  • Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine
  • Cardiology (Adult) | Paediatric Cardiology
  • Clinical Pharmacology
  • Endocrinology (Adult) | Paediatric Endocrinology
  • Gastroenterology
  • General and Acute Care Medicine
  • Geriatric Medicine
  • Infectious Diseases
  • Nephrology
  • Neurology (Adult) | Paediatric Neurology
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Occupational and Environmental Medicine
  • Palliative Medicine, Adult Medicine and Chapter | Paediatric Palliative Medicine
  • Paediatric Emergency Medicine
  • Paediatric Rehabilitation Medicine
  • Rehabilitation Medicine
  • Respiratory Medicine (Adult) | Paediatric Respiratory Medicine
  • Rheumatology (Adult) | Paediatric Rheumatology
  • Sleep Medicine (Adult) | Paediatric Sleep Medicine
  • Sexual Health Medicine

All other advanced trainees will continue to register following their PREP curricula and program requirements.


New Advanced Trainees starting from 2026

If you're a new trainee starting in Advanced Training in these programs from 2026, you'll follow the new curricula and use the Training Management Platform (TMP) to manage Learning, Teaching and Assessment requirements.

You'll need to submit an application in TMP to apply for your RACP training program.

Log in to TMP

New trainees who don't yet have a RACP User ID and password will need to complete a new user form before accessing TMP.

All other trainees

All other programs, as well as all Advanced Trainees who started in 2023 or earlier, will continue to follow their current program requirements.

Trainees in Australia (Divisions)

Trainees in Australia completing PREP Advanced Training programs can apply for training each year using AT Online Registration.
