About the CLS
The College Learning Series (CLS) is a comprehensive online library of lectures, tailored to complement the learning experience of RACP Basic Trainees.
Each lecture is mapped to the Basic Training Knowledge Guides and are clinically reviewed before publishing. The CLS is free to all College members and lectures are updated regularly.
A program shaped by members
The CLS exists thanks to the expertise and generosity of more than 400 Fellows across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Many trainees also contribute their insights, helping ensure the content reflects real training needs.
Consultations with committees and member groups are ongoing to make sure the CLS remains accurate, relevant, and useful for all Basic Trainees.
A legacy of learning
The CLS builds on the success of the Physician Education Program (PEP) — a lecture series coordinated for over 20 years by Professor Judith Savige, supported by a group of dedicated Victorian Fellows.
In 2017, the RACP Board expanded the program so all trainees could access it. The CLS officially launched in early 2018.
