Contingency plans

Contingency plans are in place in case significant events or disruptions prevent the February 2024 Divisional Written Examination from going ahead. The available contingency options may be applied to an individual exam site or multiple impacted sites. The safety of all participants is at the core of these plans.

Plan A | The Divisional Written Examination will proceed as scheduled on Monday, 12 February 2024, as a paper-based exam at exam centres across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Plan B | A back up exam paper and logistical arrangements are in place to hold the exam at centres across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, on the contingency date of Tuesday, 5 March 2024.

Our aim

To sit the February 2024 exam, you must meet all the RACP Basic Training requirements.

If one or more sites can't proceed with the exam on its planned date due to significant events or disruptions, those in unaffected areas can still take their exam.

Fees

Australia | AUD $2153.00
Aotearoa New Zealand | NZD $2475.95

If you have outstanding training fees, you’re ineligible to sit the exam. See College Fees Terms and Conditions.
