Paediatric training offers specialty and sub-specialty experiences, working with a supportive and expanding team, and opportunities to explore the beautiful state of lutruwita through work-life balance.

The statewide training program offers a wealth of experiences for trainees with broad exposures to general paediatrics and subspecialities within a closely consultant-supervised team. Positions are available for first year trainees, beginning their exposure to paediatrics or those seeking paediatric experience for other training programs, through to more experienced trainees on their way to preparing for college exams. Supervision is provided through consultant paediatricians, and trainee mentorship is available through a large and growing advanced training program within Tasmania.

• General Paediatric Registrar
• Basic Trainee Registrar Salary $134,930 per annum Medical Practitioner Level 5 (Registrar) Salary range is in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022 Period of Employment Fixed term, full time day work working 76 hours per fortnight (+10 hours protected training time) commencing 3 February 2025 until 2 February 2026. (In some cases a 24-month contract may be negotiated at employment)
