- Clinical Director – Medicine DoH NW
- Tasmania Fixed term, full time, day worker (with on-call) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing asap for a 3 year period.
The successful applicant will provide a high level of strategic leadership and direction, ensuring resources are efficiently utilised, services are effectively integrated within the hospital/service and the highest standards of service delivery are achieved in accordance with hospital/service policy directions, service standards and financial targets, in addition to direct clinical care.
This position will be attractive to an experienced highly skilled and motivated medical professionals who view challenges as opportunities and is driven by a passion to improve healthcare in the complex world of modern health systems. The right applicants will play a key role in developing health care at both patient and system levels.
Essential qualifications
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria
- specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
