WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is seeking applications for Service Registrar in Paediatric Medicine for full-time positions for 6 or 12 months starting February 2026.

Our WACHS locations accepting applications for this position are Albany Health Campus and Geraldton Health Campus, Albany Health Campus Profile A registrar position in Albany will provide a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a regional service.

  • Registrars will be involved in the care of paediatric inpatients and neonates from 37/40 at Albany Health Campus.
  • Outpatients will include medical and developmental paediatric clinics with appropriate consultant input and supervision.
  • The Albany Health Campus Paediatric service registrar position is accredited for ACCRM training.

The registrar role at Geraldton Health Campus paediatric department will involve:

  • Inpatient paediatric ward
  • Minimum of 3 clinics per week, a mix of developmental, medical, and outreach • Weekly clinic at Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (GRAMS) • Provision of regional outreach clinics
  • Inpatient neonates at Geraldton Health Campus, supported by NETS (Western Australia’s Neonatal Emergency Transfer Service)
  • The Geraldton Health Campus Paediatric service registrar position is accredited for ACCRM training

Salary range: $152,757 to $203,909 including base salary, professional development allowance and 12% superannuation.
