We are seeking competent and knowledgeable Paediatrician Consultants to join our friendly team at Gawler Health Service. This opportunity contributes to the development of a comprehensive Paediatric service for the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

• 24/7 on-call availability, including neonatal resuscitation on a 1:5 rotation with internal cover.
• Conducting baby checks for newborns.
• Hosting Rapid Access Paediatric Clinics on weekday mornings.
• Conducting General Paediatric Clinics on weekday afternoons.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications and experience in paediatrics.
• Dedication to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Total Indicative Remuneration: MD2 $372,783 - $483,861 p.a. (pro-rata)
Position Type: Multiple Permanent Part Time positions (up to 18.75 hours available)

Essential qualifications

• Fellowship of the RACP (or equivalent)
• Eligible for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of South Australia.
• Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements. 
• DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients).
