Description
Permanent full time opportunity to provide high quality, culturally appropriate sexual health clinical care (incorporating comprehensive management of HIV, sexually transmitted infections, public health, genital dermatology, gender affirming care, sexual dysfunction and viral hepatitis) in a specialist environment working within a multidisciplinary model of care.
Essential qualifications
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and specialist registration in Sexual Health Medicine, or eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine (or equivalent). Applicants who have a reasonable expectation of Fellowship by the end of the training year are also encouraged to apply (noting the above registration requirements).
- The successful applicant must have Scope of Clinical Practice (SoCP) awarded by a Metro North Hospital and Health Service Credentialing and SoCP committee. Information presented for application will be presented to the committee during the selection process, and all appointments are subject to maintenance of SoCP within the Clinical Service Capability Framework for the facilities in which clinical work is to be undertaken.
