Permanent part time day worker with on call position, working up to 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
The successful applicant will enjoy opportunities to contribute to education in partnership with Uni. Tasmania, as well as research opportunities through the Clifford Craig Foundation, established to support medical research in the Northern region of Tasmania.
We're a progressive team, with a strong focus on quality improvement initiatives, novel therapeutics and programs which improve access to specialist and generalist palliative care for people in our catchment. Current projects specialist palliative care in aged care facilities across our region and a Northern Palliative Care ECHO program with rural and remote GPs, and a seven-day week specialist nursing service.
Essential qualifications
Meet the essential criteria as Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty.*
Desirable: Fellow with the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (AChPM) or; an Specialist Medical Practitioner with extensive experience in Palliative medicine.
