Description
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Staff Specialist within the South Australian Intellectually Disability Health Service, within the Aged Care, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Division.
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.
As a Staff Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of medical conditions, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. You will also contribute to teaching and training, as well as participating in research activities.
Essential qualifications
- You must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- Appropriate Specialist Qualifications which are registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
