An exciting opportunity exists for HMOs to join our growing service. Opportunity to spend either 6 or 12 months in Monash Medical Centre’s (MMC) paediatric emergency department. The position is ideally suited to those interested in pursuing a career in paediatric emergency or emergency medicine.
Previous HMOs working in this role and undertaking training with RACGP have greatly benefited from the training and experience provided. Rotations to MMC’s adult ED or the recently opened Victorian Heart Hospital are possible. These other rotations are advertised separately but provide a wonderful mix of emergency department experience within the one health service.
Essential qualifications
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
- Working with Children's Certificate
