We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Forensic Medical team as an Advanced Trainee/ Fellow, where you'll:
- contribute to the provision of clinical services and patient care in the Paediatric Forensic Medical Service (PFMS) under the direction of Medical Consultants and the Medical Unit Head, PFMS
- deliver clinical care aligned with the objectives, vision, mission, and values of the Women’s and Children’s Health Network
- participate in clinical teaching and research activities as part of medical training
- support the implementation of research portfolios to enhance evidence-based practice
As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years.
Rotations following the initial 12-months allocation as Advanced Trainee/Fellow Paediatric Forensic Medical will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements.
This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.
Essential qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent
- registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with general registration
- clinical experience and competence in the practice of paediatric medicine
- demonstrated knowledge of quality management principles and activities
- completed RACP Basic Paediatric Training requirements and progressed to Advanced Training
