- salary classification - MDP2 - Medical Practitioner - $105,751 to $171,579 p.a., includes award salary, superannuation and any other monetary benefits

About the opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Nephrology team as an Advanced Trainee Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology, where you'll be responsible for:
- Contributing to the provision of a clinical services under consultant supervision within the Haematology/Oncology department including after hours on call, according to the objectives and philosophies of the Women’s and Children’s Health Network and in the context of a medical officer in training for a consultant position in Paediatric Haematology/Oncology.
- Demonstrating a commitment to clinical teaching and participates in associated research projects.
Essential qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent,
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
- Completed RACP Basic Paediatric Training requirements and progressed to Advanced Trainee
- Ability to work as an effective team member in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other staff
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and/or high workloads
- Problem solving and decision-making skills (both clinical and individual)
