Description
The Northern Territory offers 5 Advanced Trainee positions (3 positions at the Royal Darwin Hospital and 2 positions at the Alice Springs Hospital) in Nephrology for 2024. These positions offer accredited training in all aspects of Nephrology including General Nephrology, Chronic Kidney Disease Management, all forms of Renal Replacement Therapy and post-transplant care of patients after transplant surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
There's an active Renal Outreach and Telemedicine service to remote communities. In addition, there is an opportunity for trainees to participate in Interventional Nephrology activities consisting of Renal Biopsies, Tunnelled Central Lines and Vascular Access Management (including fistulograms and fistuloplasties).

- To be eligible for one of these exciting opportunities you are required to have passed both the written and clinical exam.
