Position Status: Permanent Full Time (80 hrs p.f.)

Work Unit/Facility Location: Department of Child & Adolescent Health, Mackay Hospital and Health Service

Remuneration value up to $496,981 p.a. comprising salary between $8,654.00 p.f. - $9,175.30 p.f. (L25-L27) or remuneration value up to $457,359 p.a. comprising salary between $7,260.00 p.f. - $8,407.00 p.f. (L18-L24); employer superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), attraction and retention incentive allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., professional indemnity cover, plus overtime and on-call allowances.

As the Clinical Director Paediatrics, you will provide organisational, management and clinical leadership to the paediatrics team across all professional disciplines (medical, nursing, allied health, operational and administration). Your opportunity is to lead clinical, service and cultural transformation to deliver optimum patient care, and to ensure integration of services both with Mackay Hospital and Health Service (MHHS) and with partner agencies in the wider community.

The position forms part of the senior management team that is responsible for the provision of high-quality clinical care for patients requiring paediatric services with MHHS and delivery of key performance indicators as determined by the HHS.
