We're now seeking an outstanding leader to take on the role of Clinical Director, Women & Children.

About the role

This senior leadership position will provide clinical governance, strategic direction, and operational oversight for Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Paediatrics.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (operationally) and the Chief Medical Officer (professionally), you'll: 

  • lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient centred care
  • drive innovation, continuous improvement, and workforce planning across Women’s and Children’s services
  • collaborate with executive colleagues to shape models of care, strengthen patient access, and improve outcomes across the Loddon Mallee region

Essential qualifications

The successful candidate will:

  • hold current registration as a specialist medical practitioner in Australia in either Paediatrics (FRACP) or Obstetrics & Gynaecology (FRANZCOG)
  • have demonstrated success in a senior healthcare management role with the ability to inspire, build, and lead high-performing teams within a complex clinical environment
  • extensive knowledge and experience in clinical governance, safety and quality frameworks, and the capacity to contribute strategically to service development, workforce planning and organisational improvement
